The Mad Dog Scamble had a bit of everything this year: sun, cloud, mud, water crossings, dirty dogs, food, prizes, happy runners and even hail. Thanks goes out to all the organizers and volunteers who made it happen but in particular to Race and Course Directors John Petrosoniak and Nick Roberts who put together another mad course and race and special thanks to Shiraz Roberts for making the sugary treats that fueled our Mad Dog meetings.
Some testimonials from some Mad Dogs:
“That was a great course. Best in 3 years I ran with you dogs. So well organized too. Thank you so very much. Can I register for next year now? I'd hate to miss it. See you next year.” S.L.
“You guys did a fabulous job! Even though there were some missing markers, it made for a more adventurous race. It was my first time but I now know I’m a lifer a mad dog forever! Good job. Thanks for the memories! See you next year” T.G.
“Congrats on organizing a fantastic event! I joined you for the Mad Dog Scramble, it was my first year for the Mad Dog, and my first trail run! I had a great time, and the whole experience was tons of fun. Really challenging course, great atmosphere - I'm a slowpoke, so I was trying to stay out of the way of the faster dogs that were passing me, and pretty much every time I got a "Thanks! Great Job! You're Doing Great!" Very supportive gang!” J.S.
