Damian Jakibchuk is a Canadian writer-adventurer from St. Catharines, Ontario. He recalls childhood family road trips to Florida, when he first developed a great appreciation for the open road and travel writing. In his 20s, he moved to England, picked up a bicycle, and began testing himself to see how far he could go on his own power. His primary focus in life has always been to take risks, and write the stories that others cannot, which was the motivation behind his cycling Argentina from top to bottom in 2015/16. He hopes to dip his toes into anything challenging and unusual.
