Have a fall marathon or other endurance event coming up? Remember that keeping your body fueled with delicious and nutritious meals during training is just as important as completing (almost) all of your scheduled workouts. Athletes and recreational athletes alike—especially those participating in endurance events—need to ensure they’re eating a sufficient amount of carbohydrates before and after a workout to replenish glycogen stores, which is the body’s preferred source of fuel.
